Your privacy is fundamental to how we design and operate Sleeps Tracker. This policy explains what information we access, how it is used, and how we protect your data.
1. Information We Access
Sleeps Tracker helps you log and review your sleep sessions. The app stores the sleep times, quality ratings, and notes that you enter directly into the app. To send bedtime reminders, the app may request notification permission. You can enable or disable reminders at any time in Settings.
2. On-Device Processing
Sleeps Tracker is built with a privacy-first approach. Your sleep history is stored locally on your device. We do not:
- Upload your sleep records to any external server
- Store your sleep data in the cloud
- Sell user data to third parties
- Share personal sleep information with any third party
3. Data Export
You can export your sleep history as a CSV or PDF file at any time. Exporting is initiated by you, and the exported file is saved locally on your device. We do not receive a copy of exported files.
4. Advertising
Sleeps Tracker may display banner advertisements from third-party brands and partners. These ads are loaded from a remote configuration and may include images or links to external websites or apps. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs such as AdMob or Meta Audience Network, and we do not collect advertising IDs or device identifiers for ad targeting. No personal sleep information is shared with advertisers.
5. Data We Collect
Sleeps Tracker does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or health records. The sleep data you enter is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us.
6. Third-Party Services
The only external service Sleeps Tracker currently uses is the remote configuration that supplies the third-party banner advertisements shown in the app. We do not currently use analytics, crash reporting, cloud backup, or social media SDKs that would collect usage data.
7. Permissions
Sleeps Tracker may request notification permission to deliver bedtime reminders. To schedule reminders at the exact time you choose, the app also uses exact alarm permissions and a boot receiver to reschedule alarms after your device restarts. These permissions are used only for reminder functionality and are never used to collect or transmit personal content.
8. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect app functionality and user privacy. Because your sleep data is processed and stored on-device, it is not transmitted over the internet by default.
9. Children's Privacy
Sleeps Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
